I can\u2019t wait to share more about that soon. But today, I want to talk about something just as important: the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Open Sea Simulator is an open-world sailing game, the map design is at the heart of the gameplay experience. Life in Open Sea Simulator revolves around the ocean\u2014both literally and metaphorically. But there\u2019s also a significant landmass to explore (and for me to finish designing!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the game&#8217;s key pillars is its variety of playstyles: maybe you\u2019ll start as a humble fisher in a quiet coastal town, selling your catch at the local market. Or perhaps you&#8217;ll run a small tourism company in a sunny Mediterranean port. You could even scale up to manage a full-blown shipping and logistics empire from an industrial harbor. These possibilities require a rich, diverse map\u2014different regions, biomes, and cities\u2014each tailored to its own style of gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll share more details about these regions soon.
