If you are a game dev for a long time, you start to see everything as \u201ccan I develop a game based on this concept?\u201d On a holiday, when I was peacefully watching boats floating on the sea, I got an idea with this mindset too. After a couple of heart beating moments and research, my idea started to form a project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After 1,5 years of development from that day, today I proudly introduce to you; Open Sea Simulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the name suggests, Open Sea Simulator is a sea oriented simulation game. There is no story line, the player has the freedom to create its own game play style. Discovering the map, rod fishing, commercial fishing, transporting, search & rescue missions, sea races or just chilling on a bench while watching the sea\u2026 There are great ideas that are already included or will be included in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also as a member of the simulation games community, I\u2019m aware that there is a spectrum between chill to realistic game play styles in this genre. To appeal to everyone, I included a mechanism that I called \u201cAdjustable Realism\u201d. Basically you can turn on\/off some mechanisms if you don\u2019t want to bother with them. I will tell you in more detail about them in later logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
